  • Opt-In: Consent is obtained through patient intake forms, verbal confirmation during registration, or via our website’s “Contact Us” form. Note: Checking a box on a web form or providing your number during intake constitutes “Prior Express Consent.”

  • Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your care needs. Typically, you will receive 1–3 messages per scheduled appointment.

  • Carrier Requirement: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

  • Healthcare Operations: We may share information with trusted partners (like AWS or Twilio) solely to facilitate your care (e.g., sending the text). These partners are legally bound by a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) to protect your data.

5. HIPAA Compliance & Security

We implement industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect your Protected Health Information (PHI).

Sound Solutions Hearing & Balance Centers and mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to the effective transmission from your network operator.
