Dr. Mikal Caldwell – Miller
Dr. Mikal Caldwell – MillerAu.D., F-AAA
Dr. Mikal is a Board Certified Doctor of Audiology and the founder and CEO of Sound Solutions Hearing and Balance Centers. She is originally from Lakewood, CA, but spent most of her life in the small town of Boulder City, NV. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Disorders from California State University, Long Beach, a Master of Arts in Communicative Disorders with an emphasis on Audiology from California State University, Long Beach, and a Doctorate in Audiology from The University of Florida.

Dr. Mikal founded Sound Solutions in 2004 because she is passionate about helping others and feels that audiology is both a science and an art. She has worked in the audiology field for many years and is committed to providing the latest technology and the highest standard of care to her patients. She says, “There is no better feeling than having another human being put their arms around you and thank you for helping them regain one of their senses!”

In her spare time, Dr. Mikal enjoys photography, traveling with her husband Michael, antiquing, gardening, architecture from the arts and crafts movement, and attending performances at the OC Performing Arts Center. She is also especially fond of her ‘furry children’ at home.

Michael Miller

Michael is originally from Huntington Beach, CA and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. Michael has been a part of our practice for many years, but officially for three years. Michael enjoys talking to patients and hearing their stories. He especially loves to help clients find products or services to ease their difficulties. Michael is known in the office for wearing his ‘snappy’ Hawaiian shirts. When he’s not keeping our offices running smoothly, he loves to play ice hockey, watch the LA Kings play, do photography, travel and go antiquing with his wonderful wife, Dr. Mikal.
Jodi L. Stephens
Jodi L. StephensAu.D., F-AAA
Dr. Stephens was born and raised in Southern California. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Disorders and Masters in Audiology from California State University, Long Beach and a Doctorate in Audiology from The University of Florida. Dr. Stephens has more than 15 years of experience in the field of audiology and has worked in medical, research, and clinical environments. Dr. Stephens’ specialties include medically based diagnostic testing, electrophysiology, interoperative monitoring, and diagnosis of auditory processing disorders. In her spare time, Dr. Stephens loves spending time with family and friends, enjoys making jewelry, and attending events at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, where she is a season ticket holder.
